For our client, a big Retail organization from the FMCG industry, we are looking for an Interim IT director to innovate in the logistic sphere and redesign the IT process of the Supply Chain Management. We are looking for a proactive person, a self-starter with out of the box mentality, who has experience in scale-up environment and is willing to implement it as part of big, matrix organization. The ideal candidate has extensive IT experience both on technical, hands-on level, as well as on the management level, and has worked in an Agile environment. The industrial knowledge in the field of Supply Chain is a must! You are a result-oriented people manager who provides startup type of leadership to a team of developers. You are a tech-savvy leader who wants to make an impact! You will be responsible for leading a big transformation in Supply Chain process and creating a new logistic IT environment.

Results to be achieved for this IT Director Supply Chain Management

  • You will re-design the supply chain management process, so that it complies with the digital transformation of the company;
  • You will create a new Logistic IT environment by implementing the modern technology and leading the team of developers in innovative, start-up like leadership mindset;
  • You will be in charge of leading and motivating the team to create innovative and modern in-depth ideas and solutions, thus be indirectly responsible for increasing company’s success.

The requirements for this position

  • Hands-on IT experience preferably gained in scale-up environment. Knowledge in software architecture and Agile methodology. In-depth knowledge of the Supply Chain Management process and procedures.
  • You possess the ability to implement the technical knowledge in creating the concept of new modern logistic IT environment. You are able to lead the team to success and results’ achievement.
  • You are responsible for the complete transformation of the IT Logistics department from scratch. You will create the strategy, implement the Agile methodology in the work and encourage the innovative mindset in the work.
