The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager position  

For our client Novacom Europe we are looking for a Business Development Manager with a proven track record in B2B business, long sales cycles and consultative selling with international clients. 

Novacom Europe combines the latest asset technology with data intelligence (SaaS) working with all major transportation companies providing them key operational data and insights how to reduce costs and optimize efficiency. Novacom Europe is a market leader in trailer telematics. Together with its partners, Novacom Europe offers the Trailermatics service in multiple geographies, being the one-stop-service and solution for trailer tracking to be used for different asset types and/or short-term rental equipment. Novacom Europe is a part of Cls Group. 

As the Business Development Manager you have a very strong focus on growth within Northern Europe, accelerating product/services portfolio and be able to initiate and to close new opportunities. You are a true networker who knows finding his/her way within a client organization, capable of building links to and between all stakeholders.

Results to be achieved for this Business Development Manager

  • You have a strong focus on growth within Northern Europe and accelerating product/ services portfolio and be able to initiate and to close new opportunities;
  • Increase the sales activity within Northern Europe and secure a solid growth in new business and deep, cross and up selling within current clients and create clarity where customer sees complexity;
  • Form and execute an effective strategic, commercial account plan.

The requirements for this position

  • You have a proven track record in (international) Business Development with a strong background in B2B business, long sales cycles and consultative selling;
  • You have the ability to work self-supporting and don’t mind travelling a lot. You are a true networker with a digital mindset/ SaaS/ Data background. Logistic network is a plus;
  • As a Business Development Manager, you take ownership for the commercial activities and make sure your targets are met. You are able to manage multi stakeholder deals internally as well as externally (partners) and create clarity where customer sees complexity.
