For our client Leaseweb in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer, to lead the ambitious Marketing team!

Leaseweb has been a leading global Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) organization for over 25 years, providing dedicated servers, CDN and cloud hosting solutions on a global network, with more than 600 employees from 45 countries. Leaseweb has offices in the Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan.

As Chief Marketing Officer, you will be part of the Global Management Team, and report to the CEO of Leaseweb. You will be responsible for providing and implementing innovative marketing strategies, working closely with the offices in the Germany, UK, USA, Canada, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong and Japan. You will also be responsible for shaping and building the team that will grow and evolve with Leaseweb.

Results to be achieved

You provide a vision and leadership to the marketing department, including 3 direct and 13 indirect reports. You set marketing goals and objectives and determine KPIs for the marketing department;
You plan, implement and drive Leaseweb’s global marketing and communication strategy for all of the entities. You ensure all areas of marketing work together to optimize the overall marketing strategy. You also are responsible for developing a scalable growth strategy through B2B channels while also evaluating other sales/distribution channels for the products;
Leaseweb is currently working on the detailed specification of the new E-Commerce and Marketing Automation platform. You will act as the main owner and SteerCo representative from the marketing side. You also stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices.

The requirements for this position

The ideal candidate for this role has experience in high-growth B2B companies and is able to own all areas of B2B marketing, including but not limited to demand generation, content, branding, public relations, analyst relations, channel marketing and events. You have 10 years of experience in the Tech Industry in roles of responsibility in marketing, communications, or a combination, with successful track record with B2B Ecommerce platforms. Experience in Telco industry is a big plus;

You have proven ability to manage change and drive transformation. Experience in forecasting and P&L management, business metrics, campaign analysis, and customer strategy development are of big importance;

Visionary with a driven personality, not only highly analytical and strategic but also creative and hands-on in nature. Strong verbal and written communications skills in English, and an educational background in Marketing are also needed for this position.
