The ideal candidate

For our client Allseas we are looking for a hands-on IT Architect to optimise IT applications and infrastructure in order to align with business processes and ensuring a maintainable, robust IT landscape. The IT Department is responsible for the design, maintenance and support of Allseas’ information technology infrastructure, in order to enable the organization to leverage both information and technology in an efficient, productive and secure manner.

Allseas is a world-leading contractor in the offshore energy market. Experts in the design and execution of large and complex offshore projects, they are constantly pushing the boundaries of technology. Designed and optimized in-house, their versatile fleet of specialized vessels operate worldwide, equipped with the most advanced equipment and systems.

As IT Architect you will evaluate internal functions and business development strategies to align and optimise IT processes, applications and infrastructure. You create and improve the overall enterprise architecture and application landscape models, and use this as means to propose, assess and communicate new initiatives.

Allseas is starting with a company wide SAP ERP implementation and you have a leading role within the implementation together with the Programme Manager.

Senior experience as IT Architect in an international organisation

Results to be achieved

Understand business strategy and priorities and work with architecture domain to align IT strategy. You will be identifying, researching and prototyping new SAP Technologies and innovations.
Responsible to deliver IT roadmap and strategy according to Enterprise Architecture principles and guidance. Define Principles and standards that directs the developments and use of the SAP platform that also supports the wider initiatives and digital strategies.
Advise, teach and support business and IT colleagues on how their work processes fit in the overall enterprise and IT architecture and provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior colleagues.

Which requirements do we expect from you?

5-10 years’ experience as IT Architect with experience in large scale transformation projects in SAP environments.

You have a solid background in TOGAF, SAP S/4HANA, API technologies and sound knowledge of Hyperscalers offerings and solutions, services, hosting and models.

As the IT Architect you are a leader who can motivate, manage, give guidance and assistance to your colleagues in the IT Department. Prior experience of working for maritime and/or offshore construction industry is an advantage.
